Can't forget can't remember - Sue williamson

Can't forget, can't remember, 1999, is an interactive CD-ROM made in collaboration with acclaimed artist/author Sue Williamson and artist/designer Tracy Lindner Gander.

This multi-levelled CD-ROM incorporates interactive dialogue, text, animation, film footage and audio to create "a space where different memories are resurrected and the truth is something that can be constructed".

"Voice-over sound bytes of testimony and an ominous, swelling soundtrack composed by Arnold Erasmus enabled viewers to interact with the intensity of the images. In this multi-sensory environment, exhibition goers were confronted with the question of truth as 'subject to manipulation, abuse and control."
