Celebration

A sound installation entitled Celebration, created for artist Sue Williamson to be exhibited with her art installation at Tokara Wine Farms in 2002.

The soundtrack consists of four CD's, each with a different theme. This is similar to the soundtracks created for Moulin Rouge or Natural Born Killers were the music of other artists are re-arranged and layered to create a new interpretation. The Celebration CD's consist mainly of music from the first half of the previous century, layered with samples of conversation from old Hollywood and European cinema, mixed with ambient sounds and samples to set the mood.
